A|C|C|O|R Plasma Pen

A|C|C|O|R’s cosmetic corrector pen uses Plasma-technology for the reduction of pigmentation such as age spots, sun spots and flat moles. It can also deliver a ‘soft surgery’ result reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles giving the skin a substantial skin rejuvenation without the need for ‘going under the knife’.

*A full consultation is required prior to treatment at a cost of £20. This is fully redeemable against any A|C|C|O|R treatment.

Treatment, aftercare and price will be discussed in full during the consultation.

At Clarity Health & Beauty here in Eaton Soccon in Cambridgeshire, we are always looking to keep our finger on the pulse when it comes to innovative and effective skin treatments. As a team of skin specialists, we have historically utilised device-led treatments such as IPL (intense pulse light) and the CACI facial system to tighten, tone and brighten the skin with huge success. Being a forward-thinking skincare clinic, we want to take our treatments further and offer more advanced cosmetic procedures for more robust, long-lasting skin rejuvenation, for those who want something a little more invasive but without surgical intervention. Therefore, we are proud to announce that from the 1st April we will be offering plasma technology in the form of the A|C|C|O|R® Cosmetic Corrector for skin tightening and rejuvenation.

What is plasma?

Plasma technology is fast becoming one of the most innovative and in-demand, non-surgical treatments for skin tightening and rejuvenation such as:

  • Upper and lower eyelid bags
  • Glabella lines (lines between the eyebrows)
  • Lines and wrinkles such as crow’s feet and forehead lines
  • Pigmentation on the face and body
  • Moles, milia, skin tags and warts

It is believed that Plasma Pen technology will soon be the main delivery mechanism of many ‘soft surgery’ and non-invasive treatments in today’s cosmetic beauty market. Plasma can be a solution to those who require a more robust, substantial skin rejuvenation but do not yet wish to undergo surgery. It can also provide an alternative to wrinkle-smoothing injections and dermal fillers in many cases. Plasma causes the ‘sublimation’ of the skin via a hand-held pen styled device which emits a small ‘lightning bolt’ to numbed skin. This sublimation causes the skin to instantly tighten as well as creating a healing response which in-turn encourages collagen production, a substance which greatly depletes as we age and is responsible for healthy, youthful and toned skin.

Not all plasma devices are alike and at Clarity Health & Beauty, Lorraine Anico has researched hard to find a CE marked, low-frequency device, which offers far less downtime or discomfort than many plasma devices on the market, although it’s important to note that as a non-surgical but advanced treatment, there is some downtime and this should be discussed with Lorraine in a consultation, prior to treatment.

The A|C|C|O|R® Cosmetic Corrector is made in the UK, number one in Germany and the only Plasma Corrector which is accepted by Austria, due to its 5-year proven safety record. It has a global distribution and is sold in 4 out of the 6 continents and in 24 Countries worldwide.

A treatment with the A|C|C|O|R® Cosmetic Corrector is the gentle alternative to skin tightening surgery. A combination of plasma and NF+ (low frequency) technology is what sets apart A|C|C|O|R® from other plasma pens out there. At Clarity, we believe that safety of our clients is of the highest priority and therefore we have confidently selected A|C|C|O|R® as our chosen plasma device.

How many treatments will I need?

For skin tightening treatments this will depend on the level of skin laxity being addressed. For some just one treatment will achieve their desired outcome and for others it could take up to 3. Additional treatments can be given 3 months after the initial treatment if further lifting or tightening is desired. The results are permanent, thus further treatments are only required as the aging process progresses.

The Plasma Shower

The Original Plasma Dot treatment involves a restriction on covering up the dots, keeping the dry and waiting for them to fall off. The Plasma Shower technique eliminates these restrictions. The technique involves applying the plasma with a ‘shower’ technique, simply grazing the skin in a quick motion for an all over skin lifting and tightening effect. The entire face can be showered including areas such as eyelids, under eyes and jawline. A combination of the dotting technique may be used for extra tightening to an area of concern. Following the treatment an application of a sterile cocktail of hyaluronic acid and vitamins are applied and the remaining serum taken for home application.
