How long will a treatment take?
Using revolutionary ‘slide and glide’ delivery, a treatment can be delivered within as little as 10 minutes, which is why we can keep cost’s lower than IPL hair reduction – even though it is a more superior treatment. This could most definitely be a treatment you squeeze into your lunch hour and still leave you time for a sandwich!
Does it hurt?
Unlike traditional IPL or laser that use high energy levels, a SmartDiode treatment is gentle and comfortable resulting in only a warming of the skin. Active skin cooling through the applicator ensures comfort even on the most sensitive areas.
How many treatments will I need?
Each SmartDiode treatment effects approximately 30% of the hair within the target area. We recommend you complete a minimum of 6 treatments. We offer pre-treatment consultations and during this we can ascertain your hair type and give you a more individual recommendation. The average amount of treatments required for success is 8. Fairer hairs will require more treatments.
Who is it suitable for?
The great thing about this treatment is that it is suitable for most people! Whatever your skin type, whether your male or female and regardless of your skin colour SmartDiode is the answer. This treatment however will not work on grey/white hair without any pigment.
